- Best Cabin we ever stayed in!! Highly recommended!!! 5 Stars -
“We stayed in a cabin. Best cabin we ever stayed in. It was perfect for my family comprising of 2 adults, 4 children and an infant.The cabin's setup is excellent and is the best example of what a cabin should be like. It was spotlessly clean and homely. Reverse cycle Air-con worked perfectly. Excellent facilities. The bathroom is surprisingly big and spacious. Nice playing area for the kids. Very good location. Very comfy beds. We had a very comfortable stay at a very affordable price. Staff were friendly, flexible and cooperative with our late arrival. A real 5 star experience. Many thanks to the staff. I would Highly recommend this place for journeys between Brisbane and Darwin”

“We stayed overnight at this lovely motel on our journey from Longreach to home. The room although small was adequate for our needs; and so clean as was the bathroom. The bed was firm and so comfortable. A second choice of pillows was also provided. We had a very restful sleep. We highly recommend the Mitchell Motel, and if we were in the area again would definitely stay there. The owners were very friendly and helpful.”

“We stayed only one night and looking back we wished we'd stayed longer. The motel room was very comfortable and clean. An unusual feature of this motel is that it has a camp kitchen. Excellent for those who want to cook their own meals. The owners are lovely. Will stay here whenever we visit Mitchell.”
